What are the requirements for joining the National Black Belt Club?
In most National Association of Professional Martial Artists (NAPMA) schools, a student
can only enter the NBBC at the recommendation of their instructor. They cannot request
acceptance into the club, they have to be recommended with very specific qualifications
fulfilled.
Who can qualify for the National Black Belt Club?
To qualify a student must have their first colored belt or above and have their
instructor's recommendation.
How do I get recommended?
To qualify for the National Black Belt Club, you must:
1. Have set a goal of earning the Black Belt.
2. Have regular belt-exam participation.
3. Have a super attitude in martial arts, at school/work and
at home.
4. Demonstrate the qualities of Black Belt Excellence in
and out of the school.
5. Have a high level of enthusiasm for your
martial arts class.
6. For students still in school, earn good reports for your
conduct and attitude from both parents and teachers.
7. Support school functions.
8. Have good attendance and make up any absences.
9. Be current with tuition payments.
10. Have full support of family.
What are the benefits of the National Black Belt Club?
NAPMA schools are Black Belt Schools and when a student makes the commitment to Black Belt
they are past the trial stage. They become part of our school with the following
privileges:
1. Discounts on all special events.
2. Special weekly seminar/workout for National Black Belt
Club members only.
3. Lowest possible tuition rate through Black Belt with no
yearly increases.
4. Special National Black Belt Club patch.
